Lunar New Year Message from Huang Haiyan, Chairperson of MEMSIC

Dear MEMSIC Partners and Strivers,

The eve of the Lunar New Year carries the innate Chinese longing for family reunion and the anticipation of bidding farewell to the old and welcoming the new, sentiments that feel especially profound at this moment. Whether you are in Tianjin, Wuxi, Shanghai, Shaoxing, Wuhu or Shenzhen, reunited with your family back in your hometown, or across the ocean in the United States and the Netherlands, please allow me to send my greetings to you and your loved ones first: wish you good health in the Year of the Horse, and may the upcoming Spring Festival bring you every success.

If I were to describe the past year in one single word, it would be deep cultivation. Within the semiconductor sensing landscape, we are no longer mere sowers of seeds; we have become dedicated cultivators rooted in our field. Industry trends keep shifting, technological roadmaps are sometimes clouded with uncertainty, and market competition never eases. Late at night, I occasionally receive messages from team members. Between the lines lie exhaustion from tackling tough challenges and anxiety over critical decisions, yet above all stands the unwavering resolve to “get this done”.

This perseverance has been translated into tangible work delivered by each of you. From repeated refinement and tuning of our core products to identifying new footholds in AI and smart mobility sectors, there have been no overnight breakthroughs. Instead, we patiently resolved one problem after another and quietly overcame hurdle after hurdle. The time and energy you have invested form the most solid footprints of this year. MEMSIC has come this far precisely because every colleague delivers excellence on every small task at hand. It is this steady accumulation of efforts that has built who we are today.

Corporate development is much like a river, with calm stretches as well as swift rapids. We are now at a critical juncture, calling for all our combined strength to cross this mountain ridge ahead. I fully recognize that achieving our goals hinges on the value created by every individual. For 2026, we share a common commitment: raise our performance targets higher, build a more robust foundation for profitability, and maximize the efficiency of every team member. To deliver this, we uphold a straightforward principle: those who create value shall share in that value. Your hard work deserves recognition, and more importantly, tangible rewards.

First, Have Faith. Trust that the industry we have chosen is a track worthy of long-term investment. Trust that our original aspiration of working together as partners can unite our greatest strength. Most of all, trust that we, as a team, can forge our own future with our hands. Where there is faith, there is a path forward.

Second, Walk Together. Our team spans Tianjin, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Wuhu, extending from China to the globe. There will be storms and obstacles along the journey, yet what matters most is that we stay united.

Third, The Journey Is Not Out of Reach. Fear not a long road, but weak ambition. As long as we stand united and pull in the same direction, no distant expedition cannot be completed step by step.

Little New Year serves as the prelude for homecoming and the starting line of our new journey. May this short break wash away the weariness of the past year and recharge you with the warmth of family. When spring breezes return, let us march forward side by side.No road is too long when we walk it together.

Once again, thank you to every MEMSIC member for your perseverance and dedication. Wishing you and your family good health, every success and joyful reunion in the Year of the Horse.
