MEMSIC Universal Evaluation Platform offers an easy to operate platform with a common interface for all MEMSIC sensor component products. A user can easily start evaluatng & demoing their sensor application by attaching the appropriate Memsic sensor daughter board. There are a wide variety of daughter boards available to support the wide range of Memsic’s sensor component family.

The whole evaluation platform contains:

Universal Evaluation Mother Board: MEVB301
The Universal Evaluation Mother Board has a centralized MCU to execute application firmware and communication protocol , which will convert sensor output data to the PC to be used by the evaluation GUI application . A standard mini-USB cable will be used to connect between the Universal Evaluation Mother Board and the PC. The Universal Evaluation Mother Board can adapt the following Sensor Daughter boards through the universal socket interface for dedicated evaluation purposes.

Universal Sensor Daughter Board for specific MEMSIC Sensor Products
The Universal Sensor Daughter Board has a universal socket interface to connect to the Universal Evaluation Mother Board. It can either in conjunction with the Universal Evaluation Mother Board, or it can be used as a standalone sensor interface board to connect into the user’s target application system. Universal Sensor Daughter Board options available from Memsic Socketed Boards For some Memsic products which currently do not have a Universal Sensor Daughter Board available, Memsic offers Socketed Boards which allow users to test multiple devices easily with the addition of test sockets. These boards offer easy access to the dual axis output pins and have an external operational amplifier and external digital output PWM converter. With a power supply and oscilloscope users can be evaluating many aspects of dual axis devices within minutes.
