MEMSIC, in continuing our long tradition of technology leadership and innovation, is looking for ambitious, bright, and innovative Magnetic Design Manager. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in magnetic technology, including magnetic sensor design, calculation, simulation, characterization, process development; Real world experience with high volume production is a plus. This position provides high potential career growth with opportunity to work with international teams on both development and manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
•Will lead a cross-functional team to develop next generation magnetic sensors for both consumer and industry applications.
•Responsible for Magnetic Sensor design and simulation.
•Process development and optimization with external and internal teams.
•Packaging design and development with packaging design team and 3rd party packaging house.
•Working with ASIC design team to define and optimize system performance.
•Working with manufacturing team to improve product reliability.
•Discuss and clearly communicate project status to project team members and to senior management.
•Maintain product schedule and budget according with the guidelines of the project.
•Adhere to all appropriate regulatory requirements.
•Present at industry events, web seminars and other forums.
Requirements:
•The position requires a BSEE. A MSEE preferred
•Minimum 5 years experience with Magnetic Sensor design
•Sensor design experience in current sensor, position sensor and angle sensor is highly desirable.
•Experience in one or more of the following magnetic sensors: Hall, AMR, GMR, MT J/T MR, Fluxgate.
•Experience in a high volume manufacturing environment desirable.
•Strong capacity to multitask, ensuring efficient execution of all initiatives with attention to detail.
•Must have strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
•Knowledge of ANSYS desirable
•Travel approximately 10%, both international (Asia) and domestic.

As the SEC Reporting Manager/Financial Analyst, you will become an integral part of Memsic’s financial team. This position requires close interaction with the accounting staff and our legal department. The ideal candidate must have a strong background on the management of SEC reporting and ensuring compliance with current regulations and guidance. Other responsibilities will include consolidated reporting, budgeting, and related financial planning.
JOB SUMMARY
• Primary responsibility for international entity consolidation, monthly financial reporting, preparation of and filing of SEC Forms 10-Q and 10-K and work with the legal department in preparation and filing of Forms 8-K and the annual proxy filings.
• Must be able to work with finance and accounting staff to prepare for independent auditor's quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Stay current with all SEC and FASB guidance and pronouncements and keep finance and accounting departments and cross-functional departments apprised of changes and updates.
• Interacts with the Company's independent auditors annually and quarterly on GAAP/SEC compliance issues.
• Additional responsibilities will include annual financial planning and budgeting as well as internal audit for SOX compliance.
Education/Experience Requirements and Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree (BA) or four-year college or university;
• Prior experience drafting, reviewing and filing SEC reports, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, S-3, S-4, Proxy Statements, etc.
• Demonstrates a serious commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals and tight deadlines. Superior attention to detail a must. Must bring a process improvement/work simplification mindset.
• Must have the ability to prioritize workload and perform multiple tasks under accelerated quarterly close deadlines.
• Must be flexible in terms of adjusting schedule to various demands driven by dynamic business environment. Hands-on and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC Reporting Regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

The Corporate Marketing Manager will report directly to the CEO with a dotted line to the President US&EU and be responsible for developing and refining Memsic business strategy. This role will be responsible for identifying new opportunities and new markets for the company’s technology and capability. This person must be able to work within the annual plans and budgets to support the core objectives and goals of the company. In addition, this person will oversee the development and execution of programs, work to further develop branding and identity campaigns and corporate marketing strategy.

Technical requirements

Educational Requirements
BS/BA in Technology or equivalent experience, plus and MBA degree from an accredited university
Ability to speak Mandarin is a plus but not necessary
